I’m sitting back down with those thoughts and asking better questions about death, legacy, and what it means to shape your story while you’re still here. My five year old best friend celebrated his birthday in Big Sur, and I took the time to be present and reset with him. I also paced my other best friend (his mom) through her first 5K. Then a lot of food with my other best friend (his dad).
